Here are a few simple movements to strengthen your immune system!

Understanding Your Body

Movement is the Key

Building up your immune system:

1) Reduce Stress

2) Break up adhesions.

3) Increase circulation to remove toxins.

Reduce Stress

The eyes are the windows to the soul, but the breath is the window to the body. The body shows the its feeling through the breath; on the other hand, the breath can tell the body what to feel.

Studies have found that stress increases the likelihood of disease. To protect yourself you can use breathing to relax. Yoga, martial arts, meditation: all begin with the breath.

In this video, I demonstrated a Taoist meditation stance.

Break up adhesion

Lack of movement, such as sitting at your computer all day, causes organs to stagnate and stick together. Gravity pulls the lymphatic fluids of the body down to your legs. Toxins gather in the body and the brain.

Shaking-the-nine gates opens up the major joints (the nine gates) and breaks up adhesion in the muscle fascia and internal organs.

This opens up the body and allows energy and fluids to circulate through the body.

Skin slides over muscle; muscle over bones; internal organs slide apart.

Increase Circulation

Lymphatic and glymphatic systems are passive.

You must move to get the circulation going and drive the toxins into the now blood to be carried to the lungs and expelled from the body. (Your lungs expel 70 percent of the body’s waste.)

In TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) one has three hearts: the heart; the abdomen (driven by proper breathing) and the calves (driven by proper movement)  To be health all three hearts must be working.

In the video, I show a movement: ‘phoenix ascends the flames’ which activates all 3 hearts.

Now that the channels are open, drain the swamp.
