Transitioning into Early Summer we focus on maximizing our wealth of new, clean energy that was built up in the Spring. Fire Energy in TCM corresponds to the small intestines, which breaks down food into usable components and introduces them into the bloodstream to be circulated through our bodies by the heart, the main Fire organ.
Cardiovascular exercises such as running get our hearts pumping, helping to lower our cholesterol and remove obstructions in our blood streams allowing for a healthy flow of energy in our bodies.
