Grasp The Bird’s Tail subform is a component of all Taichi Forms.

Movements
Ward Off | An upward and outward movement that is used to deflect incoming attacks or to unbalance the opponent. |
Rollback | This involves a circular, often downward, motion to redirect an opponent’s force away from oneself. |
Press | A compact, forward-pressing movement that seeks to push directly into the opponent. |
Pull | A quick, grabbing motion aimed at seizing or controlling an opponent’s limb. |
Push | Similar to press but usually involves a broader use of the hands or body to push the opponent away. |
